Where’s Jamie?

I enjoy Where’s Wally books because it makes time pass quickly, and if I don’t feel like reading, I can try to find Wally.  The background is sometimes funny to me, and it helps me to focus.

What do you like about these books, and can you find me?

  1. Mōrena Jamie,

What an awesome kick start activity, I love the Where’s Wally books and how exciting it is to be able to create your own version with YOU as Wally!! I thought it was really great that you completed all the different slides, a really good challenge for yourself. Have you read the Where’s Wally books before? I think the I Spy ones were my favourite as I liked being able to look for different objects.

It took me a while but I managed to successfully find you on every page, a really good idea making your character small and hidden. Your second slide was definitely the hardest!

It is great to see you participating in the summer learning journey again this year and I look forward to seeing more of your awesome posts, keep up the great work!

thank you for your thoughtful comment. Having to create a Where’s Wally starring me is very exciting! I have read some Where’s Wally books before, they are very smart camouflaging Wally within things or people wearing red and white stripes. Whenever I can’t find something in a search & find book, I always try to find something else, so I relate with you.

Haha, I tried to make it from perspective, so the land near you, the people appear bigger and close, and the background farthest, the people appear smaller.

I appreciate that you still remember me! Again, thanks for commenting and have a lovely day and a Merry Christmas!!

It’s me, Maddy! I love your character’s design, she looks very beautiful. Slide 1 and Slide 3 took me a little while to find her. But on Slide 2, it took me a very long time to find her! I love how you made it complicated to find her.

Keep up the good work! And have a fantastic and wonderful school holiday. And have a jolly good Christmas too!

thanks for commenting on my blog posts! My character design is based on a very beautiful Filipino princess, I’m sure you know her name!! On your slides I checked out, what was your character based on? It looks like it was based on Summer, your sister?

On Slide 2, I tried to use perspective to try and hide my character more effectively. The bigger the people are, the closer they are to you, and vice versa with the smaller the people are. Thank you for your kind comment, please respond if you can and a jolly good Christmas to you too!!
      Your friend, Jamie
