Letter from The Wealthiest

Dear Brother,

How are you and the family? I hope you are well. Before you ask, I am living my best life in my lovely home. But the reason I am writing to you, is to inform you that I have already left the country. The USA is where Hollywood is and all the popstars, like Katy Swift? I don’t know. But do not worry about me, for I will come back home in a decade, and in hand, the most finest American delicacies you could ever dream of!

The hotel I stayed in  had red carpet floors and marble walls. In my opinion, polished stone floors would add that touch of sparkle to the ground- which that hotel desperately needed. All guests had their own little room complete with a king size bed. The only complaint I have, was that you had to queue everywhere! The toilets, the cafeteria, I could go on, but I am saving you from the humdrum. So much of my time was wasted waiting just to go to the loo, un-be-liev-able. But the most ridiculous thing was waiting an ENTIRE hour for the ship’s arrival. What poor service!

But finally, when the ship arrived, everyone was called outside of our private rooms. I heard a loud honk from the steam ship as I looked from the dock. Do not remind me, I haven’t forgotten about my luggage. Thankfully, the ship’s servants carried my beloved belongings.

When I boarded the ship, I was cheerfully greeted by people dressed like a sailor, holding shiny, silver platters filled with this thin, bright orange cheese that looked highly artificial, and small pieces of slightly yellow bread. I reluctantly took a piece of some ‘radiant’ cheese with a slice of crumbly bread and popped it into my mouth. I must say, brother, that is one of the most delicious cheeses I have ever tasted! The bread.. It tasted like corn. Of course, as you have already known, I DESPISE corn and all its relatives. I spat it onto the steel floor, in disgust. The servant rudely told me off, in a  manner. “That was disgusting as a dirty little peasant!” I said, then spat on the servant’s platter. But before I left, I took one last slice of the tasty, orange cheese and let its flavours melt in my mouth. They better not do something to my precious bags- and if you must know what is in my bags, all my lovely cosmetics.

After that awful interaction, I fancily walked onto the deck to relax and look into the clear blue sea, which is where I am currently, brother. I can tell I have many adventures to come and moments to experience, just by thinking about America. With that said; I will be writing to you all about my lovely travels, so await my joyous return.

Love, Sister
